Zionism in essence is a political nationalist and settler colonial project that had religious implications. Its goal was to create a European, ethno-Jewish state and Palestine was chosen as the place to build it. Here is the problem, nobody asked the Palestinians. The British imperialists were responsible for colonizing a great part of the world.
